We are delighted to welcome you to our home and hope you enjoy every moment of your stay.

This house has been our beloved family home since it was purchased in 1980, when it was known as Shire Cottage. Over the years, it has been lovingly renovated, particularly by my late husband, Brian, while retaining the warm and welcoming charm that makes it feel like home.

The latest renovation is the section where you will be staying — what my daughter affectionately calls the West Wing.

I, Jean, live downstairs with my son, Justin, and our two dogs, Mac and Lucy — what my daughter calls the East Wing. I love the African bush, and I hope some of that peaceful, friendly spirit shines through during your stay.
